For too many years, addiction and poor mental health have robbed me of my soul, spirit, and connection with myself and others. I’ve never been great at opening up, but music, a long time friend, has pulled me out of some pretty dark and lonely corners. It’s through this portal that I’m ready to share my story; one of hope, health, recovery and redemption; With the optimism that the fabric of my winding tale might weave its way into the betterment of someone elses.

An admitted life long crusade, I’ve been spending alot of time and energy focusing on self care, love, and improvement. I’m thrilled to say that for the first time in ages, I’m feeling wide awake - with the sense of peace, freedom, humility and self that everyone deserves. Beyond the frutration, anger, fear, shame, stress, anxiety, and doubt…we’re all worthy of joy and happiness.

On a particularily tough day I was making a list of some of the things that I’m thankful for. To no surprise, the list quickly developed itself into a song; one that’s extremely close to my heart and very being.

I hope you enjoy this first installment of my story.

Thank you for my dogs, and little boys and little girls,
